Samsung launched a new notebook flagship, the Samsung Notebook 9 series today.
The slim and light notebook is equipped with a high-definition display and a range of smart solutions.

In addition, Samsung introduced Notebook 9 Spin (HK$12,980) with a 360-degree convertible design. The dual hinge design allows users to adjust the display to the ideal viewing angles.

A magnesium alloy body allows for the Samsung Notebook 9 Series to be sleek and light. The 13.3-inch Notebook 9 (available from February 5 at HK$9,480-plus) is the slimmest notebook that Samsung has so far launched. It weighs 840g and is 13.45mm slim. Besides, the 15-inch Notebook 9 (HK$9,480-plus) weighs 1.29 kilos and has a thickness of 14.5mm.
In addition, Notebook 9 is equipped with a 180-degree hinge. Users can place it flat on a desk, rotating the display content to face the audience according to their viewing direction simply by pressing a key.

Samsung claims a 12-hour of battery life for the 15-inch version of the Notebook 9 series, while the 13-inch notebook claims 10 hours’ battery life.

The new series offers various smart functions – SideSync 4, SamsungLink 2 and WiFi Transfer.

SideSync 4 allows users to share screens between PC and mobile devices via USB and Wi-Fi. SamsungLink 2 allows integrated access to different documents. Users can access and retrieve documents from any remote devices via an internet network, Samsung says.
Wi-Fi Transfer allows users to send and receive files without an internet connection.
The Notebook 9 Spin version comes with an aluminum chassis and a slim and light design. With a slim profile of 14.9mm and a weight of 1.35kg, it offers the best mobility to users, Samsung says.

It also has a curved, backlit keyboard.
