The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has congratulated winners of the National Energy Conservation Awards 2014.

In a message, the President has said, “I am happy to learn that the Ministry of Power is organizing the Energy Conservation Awards Day on December 14, 2014.
Energy is a vital input for the sustainable economic development of our country. Energy efficiency and its conservation is one of the most cost effective measures to bridge the gap between demand and supply, and to mitigate the environmental impacts of rapid development.

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee tweeted this morning that he has recovered and hopes to return to work soon.
In his tweet, the President said, “Grateful for all the thoughts, wishes & prayers for my good health; I have recovered & am hoping to return to work soon”.
